PROGE
is a consortium research project run between 2023-2027 by
LUT University and
Aalto University
and funded by the
Research Council of Finland.
The acronym "PROGE" stands for
Prosumer-driven green and digital transition towards
de-centralized peer-to-peer energy communities.
The aim of the research project is to explore new
opportunities to understand the emerging roles and
activities of prosumers i.e. people and households
which simultaneously act in the role of consumers and producers
of renewable energy.
The aim is to study and develop
new types of market models for lively, affordable, and
sustainable energy production and consumption.
